As a former pastry chef, I’ve worked in restaurants, bakeries, and corporate kitchens, and now I love sharing that experience in ways that are approachable, flavorful, and fun for home cooks like you. From tried and true family favorites to creative twists on classic dishes, my goal is to inspire your next delicious meal.

Fun Facts About Me

After high school, I went straight to culinary school and even had the chance to compete on Food Network’s Halloween Cake-Off. I lost to a fire-breathing dragon, which was an amazing experience, though probably not one I’d jump into again. I started this blog during the pandemic when I realized just how much joy cooking at home with my family could bring. It turnout out to be the best decision I ever made.

My favorite dessert has to be crème brûlée, but most days I’m perfectly happy with a simple bowl of Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream. Fall is my favorite season, and it’s the time I love spending most in the kitchen, baking and creating cozy meals. I’m a bit of a homebody, but I also love taking adventures with my family, exploring new places and of course trying new foods that give me inspiration for recipes at home. At the heart of it, I want this blog to make home cooking feel enjoyable and rewarding, so you can enjoy creating something delicious in your own kitchen.
