STEP 1:  Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds or wedges. If using cherry or grape tomatoes, you can halve or quarter them for smaller pieces.

STEP 2:  Slice the avocados in half lengthwise, remove the pit, and then use a spoon to scoop the flesh into a bowl.

STEP 3:  Use a fork to mash the avocado until it reaches your desired consistency. Season with salt.

STEP 4:  Spoon the mashed avocado evenly on top of garlic-rubbed the toasted bread.  Arrange the sliced tomatoes over the avocado
