GASTON'S BRIOCHE CINNAMON ROLLS

These incredibly soft and tender brioche cinnamon rolls are made with rich brioche dough, swirls of buttery cinnamon spread and a to die for cream cheese frosting.

STEP 1:  Start by mixing your ingredients for the brioche dough.  This process takes about 20 minutes.

STEP 2:  Scrape dough into a greased bowl.  Cover with kitchen towel and let the dough rise for 1 - 1 1/2 hours, until doubled in size.

STEP 3:  Punch risen dough down.  Reshape into a ball, cover with plastic and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

STEP 4:  Roll dough into a 12x18 rectangle, about 1/4" thick.

STEP 5:  Spread cinnamon butter filling over the dough.

STEP 6:  Roll up dough tightly.  Using non flavored dental floss, slice log into 6 even rolls.

STEP 7:  Let dough rise for 1 hour.  Pour heavy cream into the pan of risen dough.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

STEP 8:  Once rolls are baked, immediately top with cream cheese frosting.  Serve with homemade butterscotch sauce (optional.)
