Lemon Bars with Graham Cracker Crust

These lemon bars with graham cracker crust are tart and creamy and the perfect dessert for spring.  They have a delicious Meyer lemon filling and a brown butter crust.

STEP 1:  First, combine ground graham crackers crumbs, brown sugar and lemon zest inside a bowl.

STEP 2:  Next, place butter inside sauce pan on medium heat and melt until milk solids have lightly browned and butter is a golden amber color.

STEP 3:  Add brown butter to ground graham cracker mixture and mix until evenly combined.

STEP 4:  Grease and line a 8x8 pan and press graham cracker mixture into the pan by using the back of a measuring cup.

STEP 5:  Juice fresh Meyer lemons and strain through a fine sieve to remove seeds and pulp.

STEP 6:  Add condensed milk, lemon juice, egg yolks, vanilla, lemon zest and salt inside bowl.  Whisk until combined.

STEP 7:  Bake lemon bars inside a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until edges are lightly brown and center is set and not jiggly.  Slice into squares and dust with powdered sugar.  Garnish with raspberries and sliced lemons.
